And the iconic duo seem to be spending some time together since the memorable episode of Gary Neville’s show.

The former Norway striker netted 126 goals in 366 appearances for The Red Devils, and spent much of that time in the same squad as the Ireland icon.

Keano, who’s know for his hilarious posts on Instagram, didn’t let down as he lived up to his reputation.

The Corkman captioned the snap of the 1999 treble winning pair – who were wearing life jackets – with a cheeky post.

It read: “DM us if you’re looking to hire a manager.”

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer managed United for three years before being sacked in 2021.

While Keane has openly admitted that he’d like to return to management if the right offer came along.

Keane had spells at Sunderland and Ipswich before working as as number two to Martin O’Neill at Aston Villa and Rep of Ireland.

Meanwhile, Keane lamented one “scary stat” for Manchester United this season.

Following a 3-1 defeat to a Phil Foden-inspired Manchester City, the Red Devils have now lost 11 Premier League games this season.

This figure is two higher than the amount they lost from all of last season, with 11 league games still to play this season.

It is also just the fourth time Man Utd have hit double figures for losses in the Premier League era, and club legend Keane highlighted the “scary” connotations of it going forward.

Appearing on Sky Sports, the 52-year-old said: “That’s 11 league games they’ve lost. That’s one scary stat when you consider where United are.

“Obviously they gave up so many goals in defeats. We spoke last week in the Fulham game, they lacked a bit of energy.

“In the last 20 to 25 minutes City were just men versus boys at the end.

“United were just hanging in there and making mistakes at the end.

“The lads coming off the pitch not quite getting up to speed while City’s players were coming on and making a difference and giving them energy.

“Towards the end you’re thinking it could be four or five. You have to take it.”
